I am a passionate web developer with a vast amount of experience, and a rich and storied journey starting in 1997. Throughout this journey, I've dedicated myself to crafting elegant and beautiful online masterpieces. From front-end magic to back-end wizardry, I thrive on turning ideas into pixel-perfect reality. In 1997, I embarked on an unexpected adventure by creating my very first website during the dot-com era. Little did I know that this seemingly small step would lead to a fulfilling career in web development. Fast forward to 2002, when I participated in my first web design competition and proudly earned the title of state runner-up. Not bad for a kid from a small town with no formal training! And in 2004, I crafted a website that could rival the likes of Reddit and Facebook.
During my college years, I took on the responsibility of developing and maintaining a website for our local county government office. It was here that I honed my skills and discovered my passion for crafting digital experiences. Initially majoring in Computer Science for two years, I later discovered that Management Information Systems better aligned with my career path and graduated in 2008.
After college, I continued to build websites, some of which became my most popular creations. In 2009, I launched two major websites, followed by another highly successful one in 2011. Then, in 2012, I had the privilege of building a professional website for Texas Tech University. Since then, I've been fully immersed in professional web development, creating countless websites that span various industries and purposes.
Reflecting on my journey, I'm grateful for the twists and turns that led me here. Web development isn't just a job, it's my passion, my canvas, and my way of making a meaningful impact in the digital world.
